Super Joule Ringer! Lights my workshop 24/7.

Prolly the closest I will get to an accurate Lasersaber replication of the Super Joule Ringer 2.0. A friend of mine wound this who doesn’t do electronics and I think that’s pretty cool. He wanted me to show this design of as he put some time into the winding. I think all details are in the video. Thanks, PB …
This video is the result of a friendly little discussion with SOLARTEACHER that took place in the comments section here: www.youtube.com laserhacker.com …

This is my earth battery powering a joule thief circuit and running 7 ultra bright, 10mm, 28500 MCD LEDs. I misspoke myself in the last video, these are 28500 MCD not 28000 like I stated. It is good to get corrected sometimes. I won’t go through the circuit details here, you can check my earlier ones for this info. The only real difference is that I added a second 2.3 volt 10 Farad super capacitor to the circuit. I only did this because I …
Making progress with with the Joule Ringer. The capacitor is 32000uF 20V. …
This is the first time I have been able to keep a Joule Thief type device running a CFL on just an electrolytic capacitor. …
This is a continuation of my work on the MiniFuji circuit and the Light Of America LED lights. Each LOA bulb (designed to operate on 120 volts grid power) has 27 chip LEDs and here I am lighting two of them from one MiniFuji circuit. I am working on a smaller version of this circuit and I will use that in the second light. There is a lot of light from these bulbs on a single AA battery.
