Electronic EZ Spin 2.0
This is a Lasersaber EZ Spin design motor that I used partial magnetic levitation to support the rotor. I also used an electronic circuit instead of the standard reed switch method for triggering. I made a similar one of these years ago using more coils and rotor magnets. On that motor I used a more traditional rotor needle bearing running on brass.

In the video description I give a link to a Lasersaber video where he shows his original famous E-Z Spin Motor. That is twin to the motor that I have had running non-stop on my window sill for many years now. It is powered by a small solar panel with super capacitor energy storage for the night running. The only time that it has stopped has been due to a bearing issue.
