Horn & Chester – Mach Effect MEGA Drive Research – CSUF 2024
Curtis Horn and Dr. David Chester discuss theoretical & experimental research with the Mach Effect Gravity Assist (MEGA) drive.
Dr. James Woodward is the project leader and inventor of Mach Effect Propulsion & the MEGA Drive project, which hopes to leverage transient mass fluctuations as the basis for a new form of reactionless space propulsion.
Unlike conventional technologies, drives based on the Mach Effect do not need to release matter in order to generate thrust. The MEGA-Drive is part of an ongoing effort by Woodward’s team to generate reactionless thrust based on transient mass fluctuations.
James is a professor emeritus of history and an adjunct professor of physics at California State University, Fullerton. He has an AB in Physics from Middlebury College, an MS in Physics from New York University, and a PhD in the History of Science from the University of Denver.
