APEC 4/3, Part#1 – Roger Shawyer – EmDrive
https://www.americanantigravity.com – Roger Shawyer will present an in-depth review of the highly-publicized EmDrive propulsion technology. The EmDrive is purported to work by converting electricity into microwaves and channeling this electromagnetic radiation through a conical chamber.
In principle, the microwaves can exert force against the walls of the chamber to produce enough thrust to propel a spacecraft once it’s in space. Shawyer’s website, SPR, Ltd., indicates that the company has successfully tested both an experimental thruster and a demonstrator engine which use patented microwave technology to convert electrical energy directly into thrust.
Roger is a British Chartered Electrical Engineer with 48 years’ experience in the Space and Defence industries. He is the inventor of the EmDrive propulsion technology and for the last 19 years has been director of a small R&D company, Satellite Propulsion Research Ltd (SPR). Roger’s extensive career includes work at CAV limited, Sperry Gyroscope, and Marconi Space & Defence Systems, and through his work at SPR the EmDrive has become nearly a household name, being featured in Popular Mechanics, Wired, Space.com, National Geographic, NewScientist, Forbes, and many more.
Roger Shawyer, Amar Vakil & John Clymer are the scheduled presenters in the April 3rd, 2021 session of the Alternative Propulsion Engineering Conference (APEC), an online gravity-modification & antigravity engineering event. Roger Shawyer will present an in-depth review of the highly-publicized EmDrive propulsion technology, and Amar Vakil & John Clymer will drill down on OpEMCSS and AUP and their work on a control system that enables R&D in topics concerning Quantum Gravity.
