A simple wood gasifier
I saw some projects, people building complex wood gasifiers,.
This one is made out of an old paint can. (the outside)
The inside is an aluminum piece of central heating pipe.
Super simple. It works great.
Although i think that wood gasifiers as camping stoves like this are not that great. I also bought a wood gasifier camping stove online that works about the same as this stove.
The disadvantage is that lighting this kind of stove can be a hassle. It takes a while until the heat builds up and then after 20 minutes to 30 minutes the wood is all turned to a coal. No more heat, no more cooking and you have to start all over again, because you cannot fill from the top. That simply doesn’t work beacause of the decreased air flow.
Working towards a stove that you can fill for hours and hours i came up with some ideas. I will film that in the future to.
