Nintendo 64 – LED swap How To
A quick swap of the front LED, while cleaning up our N64’s.
My wife’s is her home system bought new in the 1990’s, mine was from a yard sale 5 years ago. It cost $5, with all leads + several carts such as Zelda Ocarina of Time and the ubiquitous couple of Madden football titles !
Both needed a cleanup internally, so it was a good opportunity to swap the LED.
The old LED has been kept, for originality and because someone will likely thumb down simply for throwing it out lol
