Carbonara – quirky homemade drone
Bits of carbon fiber, cotton and glue to hold the motors on and a very light weight of 15 grams.
In comparison, a regular Eachine E010 or Furibee F36 weighs around 21g, but they do have prop guards for crashes !
Carbonara is named after an Italian pasta dish 🙂
Motors are 6mm Chaoli CL-0615 (all clockwise ! 4 for $6)
Receiver is Eachine E010 (Ebay $7-$8)
Props are 2 front ones from the spares bag for the Furibee F-36, 2 rear ones from the spares for the Eachine E010
Lipo is 150mAh JJRC
Flight time is about 4 minutes, longer on better batteries, or perhaps with cut down props to 2 blades…am thinking of doing that if a prop bends.
It lifts a 205mAh easily and would likely lift up to 350mA
