Window Motor runs as AC Synchronous
This is a homemade DC motor called a ‘window motor’ that I have running as an AC synchronous motor. The motor required no modifications. One of the coil windings was connected directly to a 9v AC power source and the motor ran perfectly. I used a ‘pony motor’ to help start it and once started the pony motor became a generator. The window motor was originally made from an old printer motor.
