AC Induction Motor – vs – DC Pulse Motor
This shows the same metal jar lid rotor that I showed in my AC induction motor video being turned by a fraction of the power by using a light powered DC pulse motor driver. Four small neo magnets were added to the rim of the jar lid which increased the weight of the rotor but allowed the the DC pulse drive unit to function. The drive unit came out of a solar powered ‘Lucky Money Cat’.
