Good Bearing for Small Motor
This shows a way to make good bearings for a small homemade electric motor. A piece of heavy gauge brass wire is flattened out with a hammer and then a tiny drill is used to make the upper bearing surface for the needle. The bottom bearing is a brass philips head machine screw. The sewing needle point runs in the bottom bearing that is filled with a good lubricating oil.
