Fixing the slop in the original Rostock Delta Carriages, long Bushings, no more berrings!

Hey Guys/ Gals,
in this video i go over the slide bearings ( bushings) i printed as well as some other usefulness of things! .

for those who are going to ask, after i printed the bushings, i then took a another 8mm rod and slid them up and down DRY as fast as possibly to get the fit just right. i have seen others heat the rod slightly then move the bushing over the hot spot to make it the correct size. however if you move it fast enough like i did DRY you will end up creating friction and that will heat it up and make it fit snug!

I used PLA for theses and they seem to be working wonders. I Ended up using a liquid silicone for the best choice of lubricant. it is dry and dose not contaminate anything.

the stuff i used is CRC Silicone Spray, Multi-Use Lubricant (05074).

for those of you who want to make the new parts i showed here in this video see this link:

The .SKB file is a sketchup file. it also has Manny other types of bushings but after testing may of them i ended up going with the one a made longer.

Go Big and God bless!
