Candle Light Triggered Pulse Motor

This is my ‘Reflective Object Sensor Pulse Motor’ being triggered by light from a tea light candle. The light sensor was replaced with a sensitive photo transistor that uses the infrared light from the candle for operation. My video camera picks up the candle’s infrared light as a blue/purple color.
