Scoposcopy: Texas Has Resonance! Overunity in VARs… Or NOT ?

Simple measurements of “power” in a reactive system might lead one to believe that Overunity has been attained.

I can haz cheezburger?

(I tried to measure the inductance of that 0.51 ohm “cement” power resistor with my ProsKit meter, and got zeros all the way across. This meter is known to be weird on resistors but with only half an ohm you’d think it wouldn’t notice. If anyone knows the impedance of that resistor at 630 kHz please let me know in the comments right away.)
