Rocket stove heater – drip feeding waste oil.
A very simple and cheap way to create a waste oil drip feeder.
Feeding in waste sunflower oil for now.
You can feed just about any kind of waste oil.
As you can see, because the burn area is relatively small, just a few drips are needed to keep it going. A perfect afterburn in the rocket stove makes sure there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe.
Parts: PVC pipe and caps. The valve of an old gas bottle. some copper tubing. (or aluminium (that’s even cheaper).
I cut the bottom of a coca cola can as my burn plate. Cut some stainless steel mesh to redistribute some heat back into the oil, so it evaporates better and ensures a steady burn.
