Motorized Electrostatic Generator with Carbon Fiber Brushes

This is a small Voss type electrostatic generator that uses carbon fiber brushes. The carbon fiber brushes have very little drag on the rotor. That low friction factor allows the generator to be powered by a small PM motor and a 1.5 volt battery.
