Pulse Motors: MHOP Development #10 : Power Takeoff, Simple Neon Ring Oscillator
The MHOP produces the usual high voltage spike when the coil is switched off. This spike is what lights the neons, but can be “siphoned off” and used to power external devices, charge capacitors or batteries, etc. Here I use it to power a simple 2-bulb NE2 ring oscillator.
