Magnetic Gearing

This is an example of ‘Magnetic Gearing’ where two magnets link up across an air gap. The driver is a simple pulse motor that I built and it is powered by a small 2.7 volt / 5F supercapacitor. The capacitor was preloaded with 2 volts. Energy in the driver is transfered to the rotating receiver magnet which then powers an led oscillator circuit. The rotating magnetic fields are offset 90 degrees.
