Black Rock Stirling Engine —- with Fresnel Lens

This shows how a Fresnel lens can an be used to concentrate solar energy and heat up black rocks on top of an LTD Stirling engine. The heated rocks act as storage units and transfer the energy needed to run the engine. The bottom of the engine is chilled using evaporative cooling to maintain a temperature differential.
