Lightning Solar
During a thunderstorm, the lightning is powerful enough to instantly charge and run solar garden lights !
Sometimes for just a few seconds or up to a few minutes, the intensity of the flash denotes the length of time they will run.
Here the storm was receding last night, but the light was still strong enough to power them up for a few seconds.
The instant charge effect will be explored for energy harvesting in forthcoming experiments.
