Tuna can Stirling engine– improvements

This is my Tuna Can Stirling Engine with a few improvements. It now has high temperature silicon sealant instead of epoxy at the top plate and can joint. A displacer shaft bushing was also added. I show it here with a large aluminum heat sink on the top plate to help maintain the temperature differential and keep the engine from over heating. A piece of ice helps also. This is a good learning tool and has helped towards my ultimate goal of building the LTD (low temperature differential) stirling engine–one that will run off a cup of hot water.
