Stainless Steel and Epsom salt Rechargeable Battery
This is a super simple homemade rechargeable battery that uses stainless steel pan scrubbers with Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) in plain tap water. The cell showed no voltage until a charge was placed on it using a 6 volt battery. After testing, the charge polarity was reversed and the energy was put into the cell in the opposite direction. The cell formed up easily in either direction.
