This is a quick test to demonstrate the ohmic resistance of an electrolysis cell and the
distance change between the electriodes via a platsic plate hindering the direct movement of the ions in the electrolyte and thus re´ducing the current density in the electrolysis cell…

So to design an efficient separation cell you have to make the electrolyte much more conductive to reduce the losses in the longer distance abd´´nd thus higher ohmic resistance between the electrodes…

So the best solution is to make the electrolyte much more conductive via higher
concentrations of ions, thus more KOH or NAOH salt inside the water…

Next video I will show a separation cell design, where you can pressurize easily the
separated gases via hydraulic water pressure so to compress Hydrogen separately into car tire ballons or weather ballons or even empty propane gas bottles with using no compressore at all…
