Sailboat trip to Catalina Island Aug. 2012
This shows a few clips of my 7 day trip to Catalina Island on my 32 ft. sailboat. I used the Super Joule Ringer 2.0 110v led light as my principle light source at night. You can find the details on this light in my video files. The original design was by Lasresaber but I built my version for specific usage on a small sailboat—at sea. It proved to be very effective and reliable. I recharged the internal small AA battery pack each day using a small solar panel or straight off the boat’s main 12v system.
