Electric OU: Wireless Power 2: Voltage Amplification Brightness

Here’s a comparison between the brightness of the bulb, straight from the battery itself with nothing in between, straight DC. And then the same battery is hooked to the power transmitter. The receiving bulb glows _much_ brighter than on straight DC when the system is in that mysterious second operating mode. My cheapo voltmeters don’t read correctly but my Simpson bench DMM on the AC Volts setting reads 24 volts across the bulb when lit brightly like that. Voltage multiplication, power amplification…. but what about efficiency? Stay tuned … I’ll be doing measurements on the circuit over the next little while.
