Electric OU: Function Generator Passes No Current From Probe Tip to Probe Ground

Yes, forks, that’s right. No current from the Red output wire can pass to the Black output wire of the function generator… if the Black wire is totally unplugged, and yet the circuit oscillates simply from the Red lead’s voltage. Right? Even an academic could understand THIS kind of proof. Golly. However, there is a possible alternative explanation for Ainslie’s supreme confidence in this manner. Perhaps she _can_ simply unplug the FG’s black lead from the circuit, eliminating that return path for the FG’s voltage, and yet show that the circuit still oscillates with practically no change in waveform at all. Would that be very troublesome to the skeptics and nay-sayers? No… not nearly as troublesome as an unacknowledged….. groundloop.
