Electric OU: Tar Baby and the Deluxe LEDs of DOOM, Director’s Cut

Tar Baby is shown in full operation, with negative pulse drive from 555 timer (now mounted on main board), in Q2 oscillation mode, dissipating power in the load (heating at least 35 degrees F over ambient and rising) and also in the Q2 mosfets, classic oscillation waveform, 36 volts on battery pack, and the DELUXE LEDs of DOOM in series at the negative battery terminal. The effect of shorting out the LEDs with the parallel inductor illustrates the fact that there is a unidirectional DC current flow in the conventional direction and superimposed on top of that is a fluctuating AC signal which contains a bit of real power that can be extracted by appropriately placed inductors and (light emitting or other) diodes. At least that’s what I think it indicates. It could be red and green superluminal zipons popping in and out of the brown inductor…. in Bizarro Universe maybe. But I don’t think so. For a further ( or rather prior ) illustration of the Deluxe LEDs of Doom, please see the earlier “Supplement” video. Thanks for watching !
