Electric OU: Supplement: Function Generator Positive and Negative Outputs

“The Function Generator is set to -5 volts output.” Whaat? Good. What does this really really mean? It means that the function generator is still putting out a potential of 5 volts…. just the negative and positive output leads have swapped polarities. THERE WILL STILL BE A PLUS FIVE VOLTS AVAILABLE between the leads of the FG…. just not at the polarity “some people” might expect.
