Humpty Dumpty—- The crystal cell that had a bad fall and survived

This shows a crystal cell that has preformed oxide layers on the anode and cathode. The first test cell was taken apart for examination after 1 day and was dropped on the ground. In the process of carefully putting the cell back together again I thought of the nursery rhyme call “Humpty Dumpty” and the phrase …” and all the king’s horses and all the king’s couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty back together again.” –hence the name. In this case the outcome was much better and the cell came back to life.
