Magnet Kicker – 8 coil Mega-Test

Several coils have been trialed on the Magnet Kicker pulse motor circuit, as found on mariuscivic’s channel. The circuit uses a coil as a trigger for the transistor or MOSFET, to switch the power to a regular driving coil. These 8 different coils shown run at different speeds and, presumably, will draw different amperage loads, though I have no reliable meter to ascertain such draws. I hope the video is of use to people who are wishing to drive pulse motors by different means than reed switches or Hall sensors 🙂
