Wireless energy dish transmitter test

A small dish receiver is used for wireless energy transmission tests. Distance between transmitter and dish is 4ft. The dish itself comes from a toy helicopter setup. The unit used to be used for the detection of infra-red beams from an Air-Hogs Havoc helicopter. I took out the original circuit, covered it with aluminium foil and ran a 22 gauge wire through to the radiating point. A small amount of foil then hopefully would bounce the energy toward and away from the dish. TV coax cable runs between the dish and the ‘Walgreen’ tower. Circuit is a Slayer exciter, running with a C3242A transistor. Power is from a Nokia phone charger, rated at 3.7V 340mA The coax shielding is not Grounded…which may have improved things in this experiment.
