Slayer’s new Choke Exciter.ASF
This shows Slayer 007’s new exciter that uses a standard “choke” inductor instead of a hand wound coil secondary. I show it operating in a “one wire” solar garden light type of arrangement. I also show the circuit powering my self start pulse motor at the same time. The choke inductor is 1000uh. Six turns of 26 ga magnet wire make up the primary coil that is wound right on top of the small choke. The circuit is running here on one AA battery and the amp draw is 33 mA.
