shorting capacitor test 1.wmv

this is a test i made after seing the circuit that Magluvin posted at OU in the Rosemary Ainslie thread under reply 208. I could confirm that the Magluvin idea is OK , as the cap get more voltage than the source voltage. Magluvin sayd ,that it is due to the “freewheeling effect of the inductor as per Tesla ” Than i tried a lot of different inductor and it seems that the stronger the Ratio between the resistance and the inductance , the better is the effect. So with the primary of a MOT you get very low resistance and a really nice inductance and yes a very goog effect. Than i tested an other very interesting effect by shorting the cap and . always depending of the over mentioned ratio , the voltage can be step up really strongly. OK and now at work ladies and gentlemen Why , how , and etc ? good luck at all laurent
