Jiffycoil Exciter.ASF
This shows a circuit that Jiffycoil (here at Youtube) found that displays an “electrostatic effect” that is like the other exciters that I have been working on. The circuit uses a tiny high voltage transformer that is driven by a simple 555 timer circuit. The output legs of the transformer are open ended. Those transformer output legs are configured with AV plugs to cause the effect that I show. I am using a 9 volt battery and the circuit is drawing about 300 milliamps.
