MA&N – “proof of concept” I
Have tried to make a Magnetic Amplification & Neutralization (MA&N) setup shown by Art Porter. Instead of curved magnets used a soft steel strips with magnets on back to imitate a curved magnet. As well have putted the steel plates on magnets of Reed Switch Actuator (top bar) to get a needed time span (the longer strip the longer closed time). It does work as Art show (free acceleration on part of track and neutralization) but…the same setup with regular Adams motor’s arrangement gives much more speed (means torgue) with the same magnets and coil. Will see if it will amplify the magnetic field; needa coil’s juice switching setup (not breaking only) instead of RS-ch.
