World’s Tiniest Steorn “Orbo replication”

So far it has only 1 toroid. Tomorrow the other toroid will be added. The toroid is a Metglas MAGAMP square loop (bh loop), over 1 million permeability. There’s only 37 turns on the toroid. The magnets are NdFeB. This one magnet replication needs lots of fine tuning, but already has good acceleration for an “Orbo replication.” In seconds it shoots to over 4000 rpms, and would keep going, but I have to turn it off before the magnets shoot off. Total input power 130mW. Tomorrow I’ll try to add the other toroid, and make further fine adjustments, and eventually add a pickup coil connected to a load to see how efficient this motor is.
