Motoring MAGGIE

This is my little induction coil light “Maggie” turned into an intergal part of a pulse motor / generator arrangement. Her little paper clip arms are holding a shaft mounted spinning neo magnet that is being driven by the same simple pulse circuit that I have shown in my last few videos. I had to use a 12 volt battery to drive the system because of the terrible friction of this bad-bearing setup. I was surprised that the little 2N2222A held up to this and figure that the 25 ohm rheostat, acting like a ballast resistor, may have been what saved it.
