backcharge I
Have made the same setup as “zeropoint”‘s – 50/200 turns bifilar coil, reed switch for primary coil, LED for secondary as a diode and charging the same bttry, but instead of the ball just made some mags arranged in the rotor; working in the same way as a ball. Yes it’s running good, very economical, hrs, but it’s NOT selfcharger. Hope with the ball it makes a difference… ps. And yes the reed switch is sparking.
